At Cyberbacker, our culture comes to life through the way we connect, learn, and celebrate as a team. In late September and early October, a series of events brought our community together across the Philippines: the Cyberbacker Gathering in Davao, two days of Cyberbacker Leadership Training, Pickleball Team Building, and the Cyberbacker Gathering in Manila.

Each event offered a different glimpse into what makes our community special, from building stronger relationships to learning from one another and making time for fun outside our daily responsibilities.

A Tropical Getaway Together

The week opened in Davao on September 29, 2026, at La Herencia Davao Art & Events Pavilion.

Our cyberbackers based in and around Davao gathered to spend time with teammates beyond their day-to-day work. The Tropical Getaway theme set the mood, with floral prints, resort wear, and island-inspired accessories bringing color and personality to the celebration.

Beyond the theme, the gathering created opportunities to share laughs, enjoy activities, and get to know one another better. These moments helped strengthen the relationships that make our community more than just a group of people working toward shared goals.

Two Days of Learning From Our Leaders

On October 1 and 2, 2026, we came together at Marco Polo Ortigas for two days of Leadership Training.

The sessions gave cyberbackers the opportunity to learn directly from company leaders, including CEO Sajag P., Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel Samantha P., and President Shiela Mie L., alongside other leaders who shared their knowledge and experiences.

But leadership development goes beyond sitting in a room and listening. It’s also about asking better questions, challenging your perspective, learning from others, and thinking about how to put those lessons into practice.

Throughout the two days, cyberbackers gained new perspectives on leadership, ownership, decision-making, and professional development. The conversations also offered an opportunity to reflect on how each person can continue improving and contribute to the people and teams around them.

At Cyberbacker, we believe growth doesn’t stop once you get the role. Learning and development remain part of the journey, with opportunities to build skills, strengthen your capabilities, and prepare for new responsibilities along the way.

Pickleball Team Building 

After the training sessions wrapped up on the second day, we headed to the pickleball court for some friendly competition.

The change of pace gave everyone a chance to step away from the training room, cheer one another on, and enjoy time together in a more relaxed setting. With leaders and cyberbackers playing alongside one another, the game encouraged teamwork, shared laughs, and plenty of memorable moments.

It was a reminder that building a strong community doesn’t happen only through formal training or work-related conversations. Sometimes, simple experiences outside our daily responsibilities help strengthen relationships and create lasting memories.

A Denim Sparkle Celebration

The week concluded with the Cyberbacker Gathering in Manila on October 3, 2026, at PNB Financial Center in Pasay City.

With its Denim Sparkle theme, the celebration brought together denim, crystals, chrome, and sequins, with cyberbackers adding a personal touch to their outfits. The photo wall, photo booth, and 360 video booth gave everyone plenty of ways to capture the occasion and take home memories of the event!

Whether showing off a creative outfit or capturing moments with teammates, everyone had room to express their personality. These shared celebrations are another way we bring our community together and appreciate the people who make it special.

What Our PH Events Show About Cyberbacker Culture

Across the week, our core values of Relationship, Growth, and Fun came to life in different ways. The Davao Gathering strengthened connections within our community. Leadership Training encouraged continued learning and professional development. Pickleball Team Building brought out the value of teamwork and friendly competition, while the Manila Gathering gave everyone another opportunity to celebrate together.

Together, these experiences reflect the culture we’re building at Cyberbacker: a community where people can connect, learn from one another, support one another, and grow together.
